Seasonal – Available October thru March
Years ago as a sales rep, I would make about 200 pounds of caramel popcorn with peanuts and gave it to my customers at Christmas. My customers missed their Christmas treat, so I added pretzel pieces and made it for them. We can only make it in cool weather (below 70 degrees). We usually start production around the end of October and ususally end in the middle of March when we have warmer weather. It is very temperature sensitive because five pounds of butter is in every thirty pound batch! The butter is the secret. The butter that makes it so rich also causes it to lose its crunch in warm temperatures. Our 14 ounce container is a holiday favorite.
